Y3 Term Three

In our Shape and Space topic P3 have been learning all about 2D and 3D shapes.  We had lots of fun using tooth picks and mini marshmallows to create our very own cubes, cuboids and pyramids.  This helped us to see all the 2D shape faces that make up each 3D shape.  
P3 have had a blast learning all about 'Castles' in their topic.  We have explored the main features of a castle.  This helped us to create castles out of 2D shapes and junk art during Art and play.  We also loved making castles based on different castles in Northern Ireland during a STEM challenge!
